Spencer, was married on Wednesday at the Methodist church at Lilesville, to John Peyton Potts. Rev. W.S. Cherry officiated, using the double ring ceremony. Mrs. W.W. Rhodes, a sister of the bride, was dame of honor, and Misses Katherine and Virgina Spencer, also sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. The bride was dressed in the gown her mother was married in on the same date 30 years ago. She entered on the arm of her father, who gave her in marriage. The groom was accompanied by his best man, Elmore Potts. An informal reception was held at the home of the bride's parents following the ceremony.
