Will of JOHN COLSON - 20 Sept. 1789
  To my beloved wife, MARGARET  COLLSON, all my household furniture and two 
cows and year ouls, also two Negroes CLOE and PETER, dureing her natural life 
and at her death, I give them to my grandson JOHN COLLSON HYDE and to his 
heirs for ever, to my granddaughter MARY COLLSON, daughter of my son JOHN 
COLLSON, deceast. one Negroe boy NED if she arives to age Eighteen But should 
she died before that age, the Negroe boy to be property of JANE HYDE, my 
granddaughter and to her heirs forever the said Negroe boy to be and remain in 
the possession of STEPHEN HYDE until heirs come of age to receive him; my son 
in law STEPHEN HYDE of Anson and State of North Carolina also my trustee and 
beloved friend STEPHEN PARKER of the State of South Carolina and County of 
Marlboro to be my executor.
