George T. Dunlap being sworn says I That George Dunlap died in said county, having left a Will and Testament in which no one was named as Executor but which was comitted to Probate by the proper Court of the County with Mr. C. Watkins as his administrator in about the year 1860. II That C. Watkins died before completing his administration of said estate and afterwards to wit about 27 January 1872 Letters of Administration De Bonis non with the Will Annexed were granted to Benj I. Dunlap on file as noted estate of said George Dunlap III That Benj. I Dunlap died in said County about 25th day of January 1880 before completing the Administration of the Estate of his father Geo. Dunlap decd. 4 That the applicant is the proper person to be appointed the Administrator De Bonis non with the Will annexed of the Estate of George Dunlap dec'd being a grand son of the said decedent and the Administrator of Benj. I. Dunlap decd. 5 That there is some real estate belonging to said decedent situate in said County consisting of Thirty-acres not devised in his said Will and about Seven Hundred and seventeen acres known as the Leak or Fork tracts situate in Stanly County and devised in his last Will and testament to Benj. I Dunlap and on this tract of land lying in Anson County and devised to Joseph F. Dunlap and containing about Seven Hundred acres and a half interest in a Twelve acre tract in Anson County 6. That there are judgments & claims now in force against the estate of the said George Dunlap Dec'd amounting to about Seven Thousand Dollars 7 There _____ is no personal property of any value belonging to said estate so far as this official has been able to ascertain. 8 That the parties interested in the proper administration of said Estate are Jane Watkins a daughter living in Anson County; Wincey Mendenhall who is her married with J. B. Mendenhall, a daughter now living in the State of Florida; Joseph F. Dunlap a son, living in said County of Anson, all the above named being of age; and the children of his son Benj. I Dunlap, dec'd--to wit-- Stephen T. Dunlap, a son of full age resident of State of Mississippi; Jno J. Dunlap, a son of age and resident of Anson County; Geo. T. Dunlap, a son, of age and resident of Stanly County; Agnes C. Bennett of age and resident of Stanly County; David R. Dunlap, of age, resident of Stanly County; Jas. A. Dunlap of age, and resident of Anson County. That the real estate mentioned and described above is worth about Fourteen Thousand Dollars. There is a__ Cert(iorare?) pending in the Superior Court of Anson Count-- commenced in the life time of Benj. I. Dunlap as the Administrator De Bonis non of George Dunlap dec'd against Joseph F. Dunlap, Jane Watkins, J. B. Mendenhall & wife Wincy A Mendenhall as Defendants to subjects, the devised and undevised real estate of said George Dunlap dec'd to sale from _____ to pay the Judgment, and Claims referred to above. Wherefore applicant prays the County to appoint him the Administrator De Bonis Non with the Will Annexed of George Dunlap dec'd. (signed) Geo. T.
