Allen Burton Deed to William Reves 200 acres
This Indenture made this 29th day of September Anno Domini one Thousand Eight 
hundred and nine Between Allen Burton and Wm. Reves both of the County of Ashe 
and State of N. Carolina Witnesseth, that he the said Allen for and in 
consideration of the sum of Fifty pounds, to him in hand paid the receipt 
whereof the Said Allen doth hereby acknowledge & himself therewith fully 
Satisfied and paid, hath granted, bargained, Sold and by these presents doth 
fully, clearly and absolutely grant, bargain, sell, and Convey unto the Said 
William a certain parcel of land containing two hundred acres in Said County 
Beginning at a white oak in the gap of Beach (sic Peach) Bottom mountain, runing 
N twenty Poles to a Chestnut, then West one hundred & Seventy two Poles to a 
Stake, then to the first Station, Together with every right, title, priviledge 
and emolument tot he said land belonging or in anywise appertaining, and he the 
Said Allen doth by these presents bind himself his heirs and well and truly to 
warrant and ever defend the aforesaid premises with all Appurtenances to him the 
said William free and clean of all incumberances (sic) & claims whatsoever, In 
witness whereof the said Allen hath hereunto set his hand and fixed his seal 
this day above written, Signed sealed and delivered in presents of us

North Carolina	}	November Term 1813 the within deed is duly
Ashe County	}	acknowledged by Allen Burton in order to be
Registered.
