AVERY COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Bill Aldridge, 16 Mar 2005

NEWLAND - Bill Aldridge, 74, of the Spear community, died Wednesday, March 16,
2005 in a Johnson City, TN hospital. He was the son of the late Clarence and
Emma Ledford Aldridge, and husband of the late Faye Stafford Aldridge.

Survivors include a daughter, Marsha Staton of Newland; one grandson; and
several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Friday in the Grindstaff Memorial Chapel
of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Rev. Cass Buchanan officiated. Burial was
in Yellow Mountain Cemetery. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until the
service hour Friday at the funeral home
