Betsy Benfield of Pyatte Dies

	Aunt Betsy Benfield of Pyatte died at her home on January 6.
	She was eighty nine years old when she quietly passed away after an 
illness of only a few hours.
	She leaves five sons, Adam of Pyatte with whom she lived, Garfield of 
Crossnore, Parren of Hawk, Baird of Newland, Julius of Valley Forge and one 
daughter Mrs. Jane Franklin of Pyatte.
	Aunt Betsy was a good mother and a good neighbor and she will be missed 
by all; but our loss is her eternal gain.  The bereaved have our sympathy.
