IVA LEE DELLINGER BURLESON

NEWLAND - Iva Lee Dellinger Burleson, 75, of Oak Tree Lane, 
died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002 at her home. She was the daughter 
of the late Oliver and Ethel Gragg Dellinger, and wife of the 
late Howard Lee Burleson. She was also preceded in death by a 
daughter Brenda Burleson; and a sister, Helen Young.
Survivors include her son, Danny Burleson of Newland; two 
daughters, Norma Goforth of Newland, and Patricia Sanford of 
Spruce Pine; two brothers, Howard and Homer Dellinger, both of 
Newland; a sister, Inez Self of Newland; six grandchildren; and 
eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Henson Creek 
Baptist Church. Rev. Earl Carver Jr. officiated. Burial followed 
in Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. 
Monday at Webb Funeral Home.
