BARNEY CALHOUN SUCCUMBS AT VALE
	Barney Calhoun, aged 96 passed away at his home in Vale last Friday 
evening.  Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Roy P. Jones were held from the 
home Sunday morning and interment made n the Vale cemetery.  
	For many years a resident of this section, he leaves a large family of 
eleven children, more than a score of grandchildren and several great 
grandchildren.  
	His wife died a number of years ago.
