She was the daughter of the late Gus and Anna Huskins Saylor, and the wife of the late Dave Dellinger. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Pitman; two grandchildren; two sisters; and four brothers. Survivors include four daughters, Margaret Pyatte and Pansy Hicks of Spruce Pine, Jean Hollified of Marion, and Virlee Freeman of Newland; three sons, Dave Dellinger, Jr., Clay Dellinger, and T.J. Dellinger, all of Newland; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Burleson Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, where she was a member. Rev. Arthur Buchanan officiated. Burial was in the Pitman Cemetery. Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine was in charge of arrangements.
