Mrs. Jake Hartley of Linville Dies
	Mrs. Jake Hartley, aged 42 of Linville died at her home Tuesday morning.
	Funeral services were held Wednesday from the home and burial made in 
the cemetery at Montezuma, with Ronald Hughes, funeral director of Newland n 
charge.
	Mrs. Hartley had suffered an attack several weeks ago and had been 
taken to Grace Hospital at Banner Elk, where she remained until Monday of this 
week.  She was then brought home, and another attack came on after she had been 
at home only a few hours.  She did not revive from the last attack.
	She is survived by her husband and three children.  
	Burial was made at the Baptist cemetery at Pineola with Ronald Hughes, 
funeral director of Newland in charge of arrangements.
