Taylor Hopson

Taylor Hopson, 85, NHC Healthcare, Johnson City, formerly of 
Buladean, N.C., died there Sunday, October 12, 2003.
A native of Avery County, N.C., he was a son of the late Marion 
and Minnie Buchanan Hopson.
He had lived in Mitchell County for several years. He was a 
retired farmer.
Mr. Hopson attended the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Delia Ayers, of Ridgecrest, Calif. 
and Harriett Hughes, of Newland, N.C.; a half brother, Toy Hopson, 
of Newland, N.C.; a cousin, Shirley Khan, of Johnson City, and 
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Taylor Hopson will be conducted at 7 p.m. 
Tuesday, October 14, 2003 in the St. Paul Free Will Baptist Church, 
Buladean, N.C. with the Rev. Roger Laws officiating. Graveside 
services and interment will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 
15, 2003 in the Garland-Parker Cemetery, Beuladean. Pallbearers will 
be selected from friends of the family. The family will receive 
friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2003 in the St. Paul 
Free Will Baptist Church. Family and friends will assemble at the 
cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday. Condolences to the family may be

is in charge of arrangements.
