MARY INGRAM
NEWLAND – Mary Ingram, of Brown Ingram Lane, died Sunday, June 23, 2002. 
She was the daughter of the late McDonald and Hannah Higgins Crane, and 
wife of the late Lloyd Ingram. She was also preceded in death by one son, 
Lloyd Ingram; and three infant children. She was a member of Walnut Grove 
Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Ilean Ingram of Newland, Cora McFee of 
Hendersonville, Hannah Honeycutt of Wilmington, and Hazel Mead of Spruce 
Pine; four sons, Hayden Ingram of Morganton, Clifford Ingram of Burnsville, 
and Eddie and Dean Miller of Newland; half-sister, Irene Pate of Pennsylvania; 
28 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pine Grove Methodist 
Church. Rev. Luther Carver officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. 
The family received friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Webb Funeral Home in 
Spruce Pine.
