Fall Fatal To Mrs. R.D. Jennings
	Mrs. R.D. Jennings of Banner Elk passed away at her home last Sunday 
morning.
	Death came as the result of a fall which she received about a week 
ago.  She had been suffering from heart trouble for some time also.
	Funeral services were held Tuesday from the home and interment made in 
the cemetery at Banner  Elk.
	Rev. J.L. Rankin of Boone conducted the services.
	Mrs. Jennings is survived by her husband, Dr. R.D. Jennings, a 
daughter, Mrs. H.B. Helms of Tryon; two sons, Preston of Elizabethton and Ed 
who is at home; four brothers and a sister all of Connelly Springs.
	Mrs. Jennings who was 64 years old at the time of her death has long 
been a resident of this county.  She was a member of the Methodist church.
