She was the daughter of the late Finley J. and Emma Moody Brewer Sr. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, James Sidney Brewer, Finley Ray Brewer and Sonny Jerome Brewer. A homemaker, she was a member of Vale Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Cecil Lewis of the home; daughters, Sheila Ollis of Marion, Sherry Dellinger of Ingalls, Theresa King of Newland, and Amanda Holdren of Cranberry; a son, C.L. Lewis of Newland; sisters, Geraldine Crawley and Nancy Johnson of Morganton, Zelma Puett of Franklinton, Alma Sluder of Bluff City, TN, and Janvea Clark of Newland; brothers, Finley Brewer Jr. of Louisville, KY, John Brewer of Elizabethton, TN, and Steven Brewer of Marion; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Grandfather Chapel of Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Huffman officiated. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Fork Mountain Cemetery. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until the service hour Wednesday at the funeral home.
