Morgan SUDBURY, Mass. -- Dean T. Morgan, 74, of Mossman Road, Sudbury, died Saturday, December 22, 2007, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Mr. Morgan was born in Banner Elk, N.C., the son of the late Thomas O. and Nancy (Houser) Morgan. A resident of Sudbury for the past 40 years, he was the husband of Ellen (Longfellow) Morgan for 46 years. They have a family residence in South Bristol, Maine. Mr. Morgan was a graduate of the University of Tennessee in 1955 and later earned his master's and doctorate degrees at MIT in nuclear engineering. He was retired from Thermo Electron Corporation. In addition to his wife he leaves a daughter, Cecily Anne Field and her husband Timothy of Dundas, Ontario; two sons, Stephen Morgan and his wife Anna of Florence, S.C., and Douglas Morgan of Somerville; a sister, Phyllis Ann Homes and her husband James of Uniontown, Ohio; a nephew and a niece, and five beloved granddaughters, Grace Ellen Field, Anne Cecily Field, Felicity Barbara Field, Elena Morgan and Elisa Morgan. Funeral services were held Friday, December 28, at Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, Maynard, Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
