CHARLOTTE ROBINSON NORRIS
BANNER ELK – Charlotte Robinson Norris, 68, died Tuesday, February 26, 2002, 
at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A native of 
Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Bryan and Grace Hughes 
Robinson. She was also preceded in death by twin sons, John Barry and Jerry 
Blake Norris; two brothers, Jack and Boyd Robinson; and two sisters, Charlcie 
Creasman and Mildred Robinson. She was a homamaker and former employee of 
Trailway Laundry and Cleaners in Boone, and a member of Foscoe Christian 
Church.

Survivors include her husband, J.B. Norris of the home; one son, James Bryan 
Norris of Hampton, TN; one brother, J.B. Robinson of Boone; and several nieces 
and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hampton Funeral Home in 
Boone. Revs. Ken Caswell and Lance R. Hostetter officiated. Entombment 
followed in Mount Lawn Memorial Park and Gardens Mausoleum in Boone.
