Deceased  --  Jan. 26, 2001, Leslie Ann Odom, age 76, of Newland, Avery Co.,
NC.   She was daughter of Creed Vance and his wife Martha Ellen Cook Vance,
and wife of John Pink Odom, deceased.    Burial in Minneapolis Cemetery,
Avery Co., NC.
Survivors are daughter Marilyn Odom Banner of Morganton, sons Doyle Glenn
Odom of Newton, NC, Phillip Odom of Newland, NC., sisters Clina Vance
Carpenter of Spruce Pine and Frankie Vance Zemanek of Minneapolis, four
grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
