Beulah "Boo" Presnell, 90, Laurels Road, Johnson City, died Tuesday, February
8, 2005, at Hermitage Health Center, Elizabethton.

Mrs. Presnell was a native of Avery County, N.C., and a daughter of the late
Jerome and Mary Hicks Presnell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by two sisters, Finnie Ward and Kizzie Ward, and four brothers,
Cutler, Conley, George and Filmore Presnell.

Mrs. Presnell was a member of the Erwin Church of God.

Survivors include a nephew, Jack Presnell, Johnson City, and five nieces,
Freda Presnell, Johnson City, Peggy Stewart, Jonesborough, Bonnie Sims,
Johnson City, Vernie Turbyfill, Elizabethton, and Lucy Ollis, Johnson City.
Several other nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, February 10, in the
Garden Room of Tetrick Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Ward and Rev. Timothy
Gann officiating. The graveside service and interment will be at 1 p.m.
Friday, February 11, in the Lyons Chapel Cemetery, Elizabethton. Those who
plan to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at
12:55 p.m. Friday. Active pallbearers will be Gary Ollis, Teddy Sims, Andy
Green, McArthur Presnell, Nicolas Ollis and Jack Presnell. Honorary
pallbearers will be the staff, CNA's and nurses of Hermitage Health Center,
Elizabethton. The family will receive friends in the Garden Room of Tetrick
Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service, or other
times at the residence of a niece, Freda Presnell, 488 Laurels Road, Johnson
