CONRAD WEATHERMAN 

SPRUCE PINE - Conrad T. Weatherman, 78, of Conrad Lane, died Friday, Nov. 23, 
2007 at his home. A native of Avery County, he was the son of the late Dent 
and Floy Hall Weatherman. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Claude 
Weatherman; and a son, William Conrad Weatherman. He was a member of Pine 
Grove United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Weatherman of the home; daughters, Joyce 
Dianne Singleton and Norma Jeannine Taylor, both of Spruce Pine; brothers, 
Carl Weatherman of Spruce Pine, and Carver Weatherman of Morganton; sisters, 
Cora Robinson, Crandle McClellan and Celena Pritchard, all of Spruce Pine, and 
Clara Rathbone of Dallas, N.C.; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 
and six great-grandchildren. 

A memorial service was eld at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Grindstaff Memorial Chapel 
of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. The Rev. Ken Anderson officiated. The 
family received friends from 2 p.m. until the service hour Sunday at the 
funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 
Multiple Myeloma Foundation, or Hospice of Mitchell County, P.O. Box 38, 
Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
