AARON WISE

NEWLAND - Aaron Wise, 89, of the Henson Creek community, died Monday, 
Sept. 8, 2003 at his home. He was the son of the late Bob and Nora 
Ledford Wise, and husband of the late Gladys Childers Wise.
Survivors include his daughters, Rella Pittman of Newland, and Rachel 
Biddix of Spruce Pine; sons, Donald and Ronnie Wise, both of Newland; 
sisters, Lola Biddix and Lillian Buchanan, both of Spruce Pine, and 
Essie English of Bakersville; a brother, Linnie Wise of Newland; four 
grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Grindstaff Memorial 
Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Revs. Junior Carver and Larry 
Greene officiated. Burial was in the Gladys C. Wise Family Cemetery. The 
family received friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the home, and one hour 
prior to the service Wednesday. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice 
of Mitchell County, P.O. Box 38, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
