In the name of God Amen

The Laste will and testament of [word indecipherable, page damaged] Mathias
tisson inhabitant of Bath County beeing verry sick and weak of Body butt in
perfect sence & memory blessed be God for itt my sole I beequeath to the Lord
that gave itt & my body to the Earth & my worldly goods as foloweth

Inpris I will and bequeath to my sone Jhon tisson tenn shillings: To my sone
Edward Tisson one cow yearling with all Her incr[e]ce: It[em] to my sone
Corneilyous Tison one cow yearling with all her increce: It[em] to my sone
Edmond one cow and calfe & one cow yearlyng with all their incr[e]ce

Item to my sone Thomas Tisson one cow & caulfe with all their increce: It[em} to
my daughter Susanna tison one tow year ould heffer  with all her incr[e]ce
It[em] to my son Jhonas Tisson one tow year ould heffer & one yerling heffer
with all their increce: It[em] to my sone Samuell ["n" inserted/interlined above
between the "u" and the "e"] tison one tractt of Land lyeing on the north side
of a creek call Slaids Creek and one cow yearling with all their increeice;
It[em] to my sone Mathyas Tisson two cow yearlings with all their increeice:
It[em] I give to my granson Arone Tisson one two year ould heffer with all her
increeice:

It[em] I will and beequeth to my loving wife Mary Tisson my plantation and land
that I now live on and all the restt of my Esstaite shee paing all my Justt and
Lawful ["Deghts" lined through] deetts: Allsoe I leve my wife my w[h]ole[?] and

Additional Comments:
According to J. Bryan Grimes, "North Carolina Will Abstracts, 1660-1790," there
was no probate, and no estate documents have been found. Grimes's abstract omits
two sons, Cornelius and Jonas, and grandson Aaron.
