Current owner, Elizabeth Ross. This family lived in Chocowinity and 
Washington, NC.

Presented to Sudie E. Ellis by W. O. Ellis, Dec. 23, 1888 

W. O. Ellis and S. E. Butler wer married on Dec. 23, 1888 by John B. 
Respass, Minister.

Oliver M. Ellis was born Jan. 8th 1823, married to Susan Godley, Nov. 
8th 1848

Susan Ellis was borne April 22nd 1820, died June 26th 1888

W. O. Ellis and family removed from John H, Butler's to their new home 
in the month of February 1900.

Susan E. Ellis daughter of John H. Butler and Guillana Butler, was borne 
October October the 4th 1873.

Hubert Oscar Ellis son of W. O. and Susan E. Ellis, was borne February 
the 14th 1896

William Charles Ellis son of W. O. and Susan E. Ellis, was borne August 
the 21st 1897
Elmer Guy Ellis, son of W. O. and Susan E. Ellis, was borne March 26th 
1901

Paul Butler Ellis son of W. O. Ellis and Susan E. his wife was born July 
17, 1904

Howard McDonald Ellis was born Jan. 10, 1904, son of W. O. Ellis and 
Susan E., his wife [Editor's note: Howard's date was written incorrectly 
in the Bible, should be Jan. 10, 1907.]

Kathleen Ellis daughter of W. O. Ellis and Susan E. his wife was born 
September the 25th 1911

Lucille Elizebeth Ellis daughter of W. O. Ellis and Susan Elizebeth his 
wife was born January the 10th 1915.
