(1821). Between JONATHAN WALLACE of the one part and John Habourn of the other Part, Both of the County of Beaufort and State of North Carolina. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of Forty three dollars currant money to him in hand paid at or before the Sealing and delivery of these present by JOHN HABOURN the receipt where of he the Said JOHNATHAN WALLIS doth acknowledge him and fully satisfied contended and paid have given granted bargained and sold conveyed and confirmed aforesigned and set over unto the Said JOHN HABOURN his heirs and aforesigns a certain Tract or parcel of land lying in the county afore Said on the West Side of Long Acre beginning at a Pine on the pine Ridge on the West side of the Main Ridge running West 20 poles, East Eighty poles to a Pine then South 30 poles, East 97 poles to a Pine thence to the Beginning containing by estimation 20_?__ Acres be the same more or less with all advantages profits whatever to the same being or appertaining to have and to hold the promises here unto before granted and bargained unto the Said JOHN HABOURN his heirs and aforesigns and I the Said JOHNATHAN WALLACE for myself and my heirs and Executors administrators and every one therein do contented and grant to and with the Said JOHN HABOURN his heirs and aforesigns the bargained promises from the claim or demands of any persons whatever in witness Where of I have, here unto Set my hand and Seal the day and year above written. his Signed Sealed delivered Johnathan (x) Wallis in presence of us witnesses mark Jesse Rowlan Beaufort County August Term 1821 then and there witness this deed James Ozborn from JOHNATHAN WALLIS to HABOURN proved in Court by the Oath of Jesse Rowlin a Subscribing Witness there to Let it be Registered.
