Beaufort County, NC - Indenture - Robert Tripp - 1774 File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Peggy Tripp Workman Transcribed from Deed Mary Navel to Robert Tripp June 20, 1774 This indenture made this twentyeth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy four between Mary Navel of Boufort County in the provence of North Carolina in the one part and Robert Tripp in the County and provence aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Mary Navel for in considerate of the sum of ten shillings proclamation money to her in hand payd by the said Robert Tripp the receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge have by thes present given granted bargined _?__ _?__conveyed and confirmed unto him the said Robert Tripp his hairs and asigns: one acor of land leiing on the Northwest side Nevel Crick a plasee coled Corrent Pinte kile (rite) upset to a plase coled Torrners Lookout Pint to have and hold the said acor of land Duren the above said Mary Navels life togather with all the privlige and propetor to the same belonging to him Robert Tripp or his hairs or assingns.
