Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Worseley of the county of 
Beaufort for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred forty four Dollars 
& seventy cents with intrest from the sixth day of Febuary 1820  secured by 
Thomas Blount Worsely to be paid to Josiah Worseley that being the amount of a 
legacy left to the Said Josiah Crosby Worseley [by] Euridic Slade which came 
to my hands.  I have given Granted bargained and Sold and by these presents do 
give grant bargain Sell & deliver unto the Said Thomas Blount Worsely one 
Negro Woman called Bearshiba one Negro Girl caled Annette four fether Beds and 
there furnature one Horse all my Stalk of hogs together with all my house hold 
an Kitchen furniture which said negroes furnature and Other Artickles I 
warrant & defend to the said Thomas Blount Worseley his heirs and assigns 
forever against the claim of all persons whsoever in witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand & seal this twenty first day of June anno Dom 1820.

Worseley to Joseph [Josiah] Worsely proved in court by the oath of William
