NORTH CAROLINA—Beaufort County.

September Term, 1774. 
This is to Certify that Christopher Franklin appeared in Court and made it 
appear that he was a soldier in the Battle of Allamance against the 
Regulators, & there Received a Wound; the Court having carefully examined the 
same, find the said Christopher to be still an Object of Public Bounty, & 
recommend him to the treasurer accordingly.
