April 28, 1815
	Married – On Wednesday evening last, Capt Joseph Skidmore, of New 
York, to Miss Ann Maria Campario, of this town.


May 5, 1815
	Married last evening, Mr. Frederick B. Nelson, merchant of Newbern, to 
Miss Winnifred Owens, daughter of Mr. Stephen Owens of this county.

	Died: Lately, on his passage to India, whither he was going to 
dispense the Word of Everlasting Life, the Rev. Thomas Coke, LLD one of the 
Bishops of the Methodist EpiscopalChurch in the United States.

	Died: On Wednesday night, Mr. Jonathan Flag, of this town. 


June 2, 1815
	For Sale: boards, flooring.  Apply to James Redmond in Washington or 
to the Subscribers on Tranters Creek – James Latham, Thomas Latham, Alexander 
Latham

	Fire in Newbern ... 21 Buildings were laid in ashes. Principal 
sufferers: Messrs Justice, Taylor, Benners, Friou & Guion & the widows Emery, 
Minor, Slover & Oliver.

	Married on Thursday evening, the 25th inst. By Wm. Vines, esq. Mr. 
William Shaw, Merchant of this town, to the fascinating Miss Mary Smaw, oldest 
daughter of Thomas Smaw, esq. of this vicinity.

	Died, on Saturday last in this town, Capt.  Green of Providence, R.I.


June 30, 1815
	Notice: At the last June term of Beaufort County, Administration was 
granted the Subscriber, on the estate of Elizabeth Young, dec’d..  D.Campbell.

	Notice: Taken Up & Committed to jail in Germantown, Hyde Co., on the 
11th inst. a negro man who says his name is Harry, & that he belongs to a Mr.  
John Cratch of Bay River, Craven Co ... 5' 3" about 35 years of age.  Rotheas 
Martin, Shff.


July 28, 1815
	$5 Reward: Deserted on the 23rd ult.  Hiram Snell a private 5' 10˝ “, 
28, blue eyes, light hair, light complexion & by trade a carpenter.

	Notice: Last June term Beaufort County Administration granted to Wilah 
Wollard on the estate of Jasper Wollard dec’d.


Sept.  1, 1815 
	Married in Knoxville, Tennessee, on the 7th inst.  by the Reverend 
Thomas Nelson, Major Gen.  Edmund Pendleton Gaines to Miss Barbara G.  Blount, 
daughter of William Blount esq. deceased.
