Thurs., Dec. 6, 1860  North Carolina Argus December 6, 1860
   At the recent session of Beaufort Superior Court, the MESSRS. LATHAM were 
arraigned for the murder of the late JOHN W. GRIST, and they plead "not 
guilty." Upon affidavit of the solicitor, the cause was moved to Pitt County, 
and at the suggestion of the State's Counsel, the MESSRS. LATHAM were admitted 
to bail and discharged from custody.
