   The Executive Council met in this city on Wednesday last. GEN. WM. A. 
BLOUNT of Washington, Beaufort County, CHARLES MANLY and DAVID W. STONES, 
ESQS., of Charlotte, were re-appointed to the Literary Board, COL. CADWALLADER 
JONES of Hillsboro, and GOV. EDWARD D. DUDLEY of Wilmington, Commissioners of 
Internal Improvement. -- Raleigh Register
