Dec. 18,  1835  Charlotte Journal
   DIED, in Washington, N. C., on Monday afternoon, the 2nd ult., REV. DR. 
JONATHAN ITIS FREEMAN, in the 64th year of his age. The deceased had resided 
in various parts of this State and both as a pastor of the Presbyterian Church 
and as an instructor of youth, had endeared himself to a large circle of 
friends.
