BUENA HODGES GAUTIER

   Mrs. W.H. Gautier, a lifelong resident of Beaufort County, N.C., died at her 
home last Friday morning after an extended illness. Her condition had been 
critical for about four weeks. She was born September 13, 1886, a daughter of 
the late B.F. Hodges and Mrs. Minnie Hodges.

   In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Darrell 
Griffin, Mrs. Chester Leggett, Mrs. Handy Woolard of Washington, N.C., and Mrs. 
Roy Marshall of Franklin; one brother, Leslie W. Hodges of Washington, N.C.; 
three sisters, Mrs. Fenner Hodges, Mrs. Carrie Boyd of Washington, N.C., and 
Mrs. Mollie Hodges of Rocky Mount, N.C., and four grandchildren.

   Funeral services were held from the home last Saturday afternoon at 3 
o’clock.

*Buried Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, Beaufort Co., N.C.
