Hunter, Deputy Collector of that Port. In the character of this truly amiable young man was found that bright assemblage of virtues which seldom adorn so early a period of life. Although his earthly career, like the progress of that fatal malady which terminated it, was short and evanescent, yet it afforded a luminous example of morality and temperance, of probity and discretion, which those who knew him will delight to remember. To an honest intregrity of heart, a genuine nobleness of soul and unaffected dignity of deportment were united those social and kindred feelings of benevolence, which were calculated to conciliate esteem, and command respect.
