State Archives) 1808-1828, page 383 . . . wife Sarah all property for her widowhood. After her death to sister Tempey Ruff and her heirs if she will come and live on the land and if she nor her heirs will live on the land then I give the said tract of land to the use of the Baptist Church, and I give unto my mother $50 if she needs it, as soon as she calls for it and then after the death or marriage of my wife Sarah Ruff I give the rest of my property to be equally divided between my brother Reading Ruff and my sister Tempey Ruff and their heirs and I leave my wife Sarah Ruff as an executor and I also leave John B.
