Walker Dec 1999 ========================================================================== Will of William Walker In the name of God Amen I William Walker of the County of Beaufort and State of North Carolina being weak in body but of a sound and disposeing mind memory after bringing to mind the uncertainty of life and that it was alloted for man once to die have thought proper to adopt the following method of disposing of those worldly goods which it has pleased God to bestow upon me. Imprimis. I recommend my soul to God and my BODY to his mother dust. Secondly. I lend unto my beloved wife Milly Walker my house and plantation and the lands thereto belonging say two hundred acres two bed and furniture to have during her life. I also give and bequeath to my said wife Milly four head of cattle also the one half of my bees also one half of my hogs I also give to my said wife Milly all the balance of my household furniture also my farming utensials. Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Tabitha Peed one cow and yearling and one stock bees Item. I give and bequeath unto my Granddaughter Milly Peed one cow and heifer. Item. I give and bequeath unto my son Martin W. Walker five head of cattle one hand mill one half of my bees also one half of my hogs. one bed and furniture Seventy five acres of land in three different peices One of fifty acres at Green Swamp one peice of ten acres and one of fifteen acres also plantation and lands with the improvements thereon after the death of my wife Milly To have and to hold unto him my said son Martin and to his heirs and assigns forever Item. I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas A. Walker one dollar. Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Bennett one dollar. I give to my daughter Mahala Bennett one dollar. I give to my daughter Elizabeth Evit one dollar. I give unto my daughter Love S. Ross one dollar and all rest of my property I will to be sold to pay my debts; Item. I nominate and appoint my son Martin W.
