1.  Joseph Moore married Mary Sowell, 1 Dec 1794, in
BertieCounty, NC, Bondsman/Witness:  Dqavid Tayloe &
Stevens Gray.  Their son was Charles Sowell Moore, born 3
Mar 1797, died 6 Nov 1869. 

2.  Charles Sowell Moore married Amelia Swain, born 4 Aug
1800, daughter of William C. Swain and Elizabeth Swain,
on 4 Jan 1816, in Bertie County, NC.  Their children were
Alfred Swain Moore, William Whitmiel Moore, John Acquilla
Moore, Mary Lisor Moore, James Washington Moore, Amelia
Frances Moore, Primillea Prudence Moore, William Ann
Moore, and Charles Joseph Moore.  Charles Joseph Moore
was born 9 Nov 1829, died 1 Oct 1892.

3.  Charles Joseph Moore married Sarah (Sallie) Frances
Yeates, born 23 Oct 1839, daughter of William Yeates and
Averilla Yeates, on 10 Dec 1863, in Bertie County, NC.
Their children were Joseph Edward Moore, John Thomas
Moore, Amelia Frances Moore, William Yeates Moore, James
Whitmel Moore, Alfred Swain Moore, Thomas Whitmil Moore,
Frances Gillam Moore, Mary Permelia Ann Moore, George
Lafayette Moore, and Charles Sowell Moore.  Charles
Sowell Moore was born 25 Dec 1867, died 23 Aug 1945. 


4.  Charles Sowell Moore married Cornelia Webb, born 15
Sep 1874, died 10 Jun 1940, daughter of John Trotman Webb
and Frances (Fanny) Jane Munroe, on 15 Jan 1895, in
Bertie County, NC.  Their children were William Finley
Moore, Myrtle Arvilla Moore, Helen Janice Moore, Frances
Elizabeth Moore, John Sewell Moore, Hazel Cornelia Moore,
Charles Monroe Moore, and Marietta Moore.
