Have bargained, sold, alienated and set over and doe by these presents for me my heirs exe's for ever grant, bargain, sell, alien, en__? of transfer and confirm unto the sd John VEAL his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract of land containing eighty six acres lying in Bertie precinct on the N side Morattock River and BRIDGERS CREEK it being to me granted by patent bearing date the first day of April 1723 it being at this present time in the actual posession of the said John VEAL and thus bounded begining at an oak William BRYANTS corner tree then N60 E57 pole to the center of three oaks in Timothy CUNINGIMS line then along his line S10 E112 pole to a red oak CUNINGIMS corner, then S60 W125 to an ash on the No side BRIDGERS CREEK then along the creek 90 pole to a whiteoak in the pocoson then 1133 E20 pole to a red oak in WIlliam BRYANT line N78 E50 pole along his line a a red oak BRYANTS corner then along his other line N75 to the first station. To have and to hold the aforesaid tract of land with all houses, orchards, gardens woods ways, waters, with all other rights and previledges, profits and titles advantages to the said land belonging or in anywise appertanmong? to him the sd John VEAL his heirs and assigns for ever in as full and ample manner to all intents and purposes as myself might or could have enjoyed the sameby virture of the before recited patent or otherwise as the most leared in the law can devise and I doe hereby further convenant promised and grant to and with the sd John VEAL his heirs and assigns and the sd land and everpart and parcel thereof is clear and free from all and all manner of former and other gifts, grants,bargain, sales, joyntures, dowries and mortgages judgments, executions and all other manner of of incumbrances whatsoever, and that I have at the time of the ensealing and delivery hereof in and to all and singulor the pre? a good pure and endeferent Estate of Inheritance in the which I hereby to? for and oblige myself my heirs exe's and adm's to warrant and defend this my sale of all and singular the prems together with the appurtenances unto the said John VEAL his heirs and assigns forever and for the further confirmation for the said land and prem I the sd William BRYANT do hereby and herein bind myself my heirs exe's and adm's in the current money of Virginia unto the sd John VEAL his heirs ans assgins for the full performance of the above bargained premises and every of them with their apertron unto the sd John VEAL his heirs and assigns against him the sd William BRYANT his heirs and assigns and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever from by or under him and will acknowledge this inshument? or deed of conveyance in open court to be held for Bertie prct to be my real act and deed when thereto requiered together with MARY my wife relinguisment ofher right of dowrie in the sd land.
