Ashburn, Esther 1892-1893 Bond, Annie H. 1834-Jan 3, 1854 Bond, Clara 1898-1898 Bond, Lewis 1874 - 1892 Bond, Lewis Oct 26, 1829 - Nov 26, 1869 Cooper, Thomas Mar 26, 1878 - Aug 28, 1882 Turner (this is on a line by itself....so it may be the middle name of Thomas Cooper, or it may be a tombstone with no other information on it) Watson, Edward 1889-1911 Watson, Sallie 1882 - 1898 =================== Bond Cemetery African American Location: This cemetery is 7.5 miles from Windsor, on the left side of road leading from Windsor to Lewiston, through Indian Woods, about 350 yds from said road at the back of field in the woods, of the George Cooper Meirs Farm. Bond, Annette 1856 - Jan 11, 1908 Bond, Mary Nettie Dec 17, 1898 - July 17, 1914 Powell, Henry 1884-Dec 15, 1908 son of Rose Anna Powell Williams, Sophie 1841 - July 11, 1913 Wife of Nelson Williams ================== LEWIS BOND Cemetery...located on the farm of Sam Worthington (at one time owned by Ned Outlaw) about 9 miles from Windsor on road to Quitsna. It is located off RPR 1107 on the back side of the farm. After about two miles you have to turn off the dirt road and go by past Mr. Freeman's house (he's the overseer). At the end of the path you go to your left and the cemetery is to your left about 330 yds further. It is in the edge of the woods and has a wrought iron fence. Wheeler b. 11-20-1814 d. 12-19-1879 The next inscription is found on a large upright stone that has fallen down. The upper section is too heavy for me to move. I don't know if the down side had any writing or not. I don't think it does and the bottom part has much information.
