About 5 miles from Aulander at crossroads known as Connaritsa and lies opposite the Connaritsa Baptist Church. However, this cemetery is a private family cemetery, and not direcly connected to the Baptist Church. Bradley Castelloe, Sarah H. 6-22-1825 - 12-4-1889 Wife of Aquilla Castelloe Conner, Robert L 2-25-1875 - 7-23-1923 (Social Security information gives birth as: 8-25-1784. Remains were exhumed and placed in the cemetery in AHOSKIE next to his wife Mattie Laura Cleaton Conner Slade. per CGalas@aol.com) Hale, Martha L. 4-6-1865 - 5-19-1932 Wife of Thos Perry Hale Hale Thos Perry 8-1-1864 - 5-16-1913 There are 25 unmarked graves which include members of negro slaves who were interred in this cemetery during slavery times. Numbers of these are earlier graves than Sarah H. Castelloe's 1889. Only a few of these unmarked graves are visible.
