Subject: Hoggard/Cherry Cemetery 


This cemetery is known by some as the Hoggard
Cemetery, to others as the Cherry Cemetery, since
there was no sign I'll refer to it as the
Hoggard/Cherry Cemetery. 

Direction: leaving Powellsville, NC on US 13 South
make the first right (1 1/2) this will be Hexlena
Road. Travel for approximate 2 miles  make left turn.
proceed for 1/2 mile turn right (dirt road) on to
Jordan Lane, the cemetery is on the left. 

Since most of the people buried here are related I
made a code to show relationship. 

Cemetery seem to be in good condition. Some makers
were unreadable. One grave has two headstones with
two different dates.
