SESSOMS AFRICAN - AMERICAN CEMETERY
 
 
LOCATION     Colerain Township     Bertie County, North Carolina
 
The cemetery is one mile from Powellsville on NC 42 heading
toward Colerain, on the south side of the highway.  It is
directly across from Suburban Park Lane and is 12 yards from
the paved road surface.

CONDITION OF CEMETERY
 
This cemetery is visible from the highway, acessible but not
fenced. It is well maintained.  There was no debris in the
area nor evidence of disturbance to the graves.  In addition
to grave ledgers, all graves have newer headstones.
