Bertie County, NC Capehart's Baptist Church File contributed by: Neil Baker nbaker@coastalnet.com Capeharts Meeting House (Baptist Church) Organized 1824. This info was compiled from the original minutes from the church. I did not cover every single detail, I did this primarily from a genealogical perspective, secondly from a historical point of view. I tried to decipher all the words and names as best I could. You will notice how I began this, with trying to cover every little detail, and quickly went to a shortened version of trying to cover major items of significance.
