September Term, 1818

JOSEPH H. BRYAN, Complainant
           vs.
BENJAMIN COPELAND,
WILLIAM COPELAND,
ALFRED G. DAUGHTRY, Defendants

Petition to Sell a House and Lot in Windsor

It being represented to the Court that the Defendants in this case are not 
residents of this State: It is ordered that notice be given them in the 
Edenton Gazette for three successive months in the Edenton Gazette that unless 
they appear at our next Court of Equity to be held for the County of Bertie in 
the Town of Windsor on the fourth Monday in March next and plead, answer or 
demur, judgment will be taken against them and set for hearing ex parte.

*Note, in this entry,   the date written was mistakingly given as Fall, 1819. 
Since the date of the newpaper issue is  Feb. 2, 1819, it is clearly wrong. 
Therefore, I have taken the liberty of correcting that date to September 1818, 
which I believe to be the correct date.
