WILLIAM PURVIS, SOLOMON CHERRY, JUN PL'FF in fact
                   vs.
JOHN FOLK

Original Attachment: Retuned "levied on defendant's divided part of his 
father's land and tenements and JAMES PENNY and SAMUEL FOLK, summoned as 
Garnishees

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, JOHN FOLK, 
resides beyond the limits of this State. It is ordered that notice be given 
the said defendant by advertisement in the Edenton Gazette for six weeks 
successively that unless he appear at the next term of this Court to be held 
on the second Monday in August next, replevy his property and plead to same, 
judgment will be entered up against him by default.
