STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA                    BERTIE COUNTY COURT
August Term, 1820

JOHN RUFFIN
    vs.
JOHN H. KING

Original Attachment -- Levied on a Negro man named Mingo and summoned SIMON 
TURNER as Garnishee

It appearing that the said JOHN H. KING hath removed himself or so absconded 
the ordinary process of law cannot be served on him, it is ordered that notice 
thereon be given to the said JOHN H. KING in the Edendon Gazette for 90 days 
that unless he appear at the next term of said Court on the 2nd Monday in 
November next replevies and pleads to said action, final judgment will be 
entered up against him.
