                    COURT DECREED SALE
   NOTICE, by virtue of a decree of the Court of Chancery of Bertie County, 
will be Sold, on Thursday, the 21st day of October next, before the Court 
House door in the town of Windsor, a valuable tract of land, on Albemarle 
Sound, in Bertie County, joining the lands of the heirs of CORNELIUS RYAN, and 
others, containing about 300 acres, belonging to the heirs of DAVID RYAN, 
deceased -- known by the name of RYAN'S OLD FERRY.
   One, two and three years crdit will be given for approved notes, the two 
last installments to draw interest from the expiration of the first.
