Coroner's Inquest - Death of Penelope White

State of North Carolina  Bertie County

Inquisition indented taken at Kader Whites in the County
aforesaid, the 1st day of April 1854 before me Miles
Hughes Coroner of the said County upon view of the body
of Penelope White late of said County then and there
lying dead; and upon the oath of Eason Cale, George
Jernigan, George Cowan, Johnson L. White, Joseph Byant,
A. J. Morris, Kader White, Jeremiah Mitchell, John Perry,
Billonton White, David Byant, A .B. Morris, good and
lawful men of the said County of Bertie who being charged
and sworn to inquire how and in what manner the said
Penelope White by her death came; upon their oaths do
say, that on the 28th day of March in 1854 at John White
the said Penelope White did die a natural death as given
under our hands and seals.
