North Carolina   to all to whom these presents shall come, I George BLACKWELL of 
Albemarle Co in North Carolina of Bertie Prec. planter sendeth greeting. Know ye 
that I the sd George BLACKWELL for and in consideration of the sum of seven pounds 
cur't money of North Carolina to me in hand paid before the ensealing and delivery 
of these presents the recipt whereof I do hereby ack, by Samll WIGGINs for the 
afsd county & colony & prec planter thereof and every part and parcel thereof do 
fully clearly and absolutely discharge the sd Samll WIGGINS his heirs Exs & Adm 
and every of themby these presents have given gratned sold aliend ensealled 
conveyted asigned and sit____? by thee presents do fully clearly and absolutely 
give, grant, bargain, sell, alien, enseall, convey and confirm assign and set over 
unto Samll WIGGINs his heirs and assigns for ever a section parcell of land 
containing 75ac being a part granted to George STEVENS as appears by patent the sd 
land lying and being on the SS BRIDGERS Cr begining at a maple a corner tree of 
Charles STEVANS and running along STEVENS line to a black gum another coenr of the 
___? and STEVENS then along Clemont STRADFORD's line to a creek afsd to a gum a 
corner tree then following the land afsd to the first beginning. To have and to 
hold the sold 75ac of land together with all and singular the houses, fences, 
orchards, gardens and waters with all and singular the premises herein, granted 
bargained and sold to the sd 

Samuel WIGGANS his heirs and assigns forever to the sole use behoof and benefit of 
him the sd Samll WIGGANS his heirs and assigns forever and I the sd George 
BLACKWELL for myself my heirs Exs Adm and every of them do covenent grant to and 
with the sd Samll WIGGONS his heirs or assigns the afsd lands as described from 
all incumbrances whatsoever the rents due to our souverieng Lord King George his 
heirs or successors only excepted unto him the sd Samll WIGGANS his heirs Esx or 
assigns against all and every person or persons will warrant and forever defend. 
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 15th day of May 1730.
