To all people to whom these presents shall come ELizabeth
Bryan of the county of Bartie and State of No Carolina
Send greeting know ye that I the Sd Elizabeth Bryan for
An inconsideration of the Natural love and affection
which I have and bare Unto My beloved Son William Bryan
Spivey of the county aforesaid and for divers other good
causes and consideration me hereunto Moving have given
and granted and by these presents do give and grant utno
the Said William Bryan Spivey all and Singular My goods
and chattls Following all my Stock of cattle Hogs corn
fother flax cotton & geese allso One Horse and One Mair
that I am Now possessed with to have and hold and Enjoy
all and singular the Said goods & chattles and personable
State afore Said Unto the Said William Bryan Spivey his
Executors administrators and assigns to the only proper
use and Behalf of him the Said William Bryan Spivey his
Executors adms and assigns for ever and I the said
Elizabeth Bryan all and Singul! ar the aforesaid Goods
chattls and premises to the Said William Bryan Spivey his
Executors adms and assigns against all persons whatsoever
Shall and will Warrant and for ever defend by these
presents In witness whereof I Have set My hand and seal
this 9th day of Nov 1798
