Thomas Perry his Heirs and assigns forever all that part of a tract Scituate lying and being in Bertie County aforesaid which land contains by estimate Two Hundred Acres more or less the Bounds to wit beginning at a pine on Cookel Maker Creek in John Oxleys Line running East 366 pole to a pine a Corner Tree thence Down White Oak 90 pole to a pine a Corner Tree thence West along a line of mark’d Trees to a pine on the Said Creek a Corner Tree then up Said Creek to first Station to have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all and Singular the rights Privileges Commodity Hereditament appurtenances and Appendant thereunto belonging or in any way appertaining unto him the Said Thomas Perry his heirs and Assigns forever to his and their own Sale use Benefit and Behoof forever in as full and ample manner to all Intents and purposes of the most learned in the law can Devise against the lawful Claims of all or any other Person or Persons whatsoever. I promise to warrant Secure Maintain and Defend the said Tract or parcel of Land and Premises unto him the Said Thomas Perry his Heirs and Assigns forever. In witness whereof I the Said John Cake have hereunto set my hand and Seal this First Day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and Sixty one.
