1786     Promise Note to David COLLINS from William BRYANT

        Spelling is how entry is written.


I Promise to pay or cause to be paid unto David
COLLINS or his orders the full and just sum of
twenty three pounds current money of this State by
the 25 of December next and if the curency fail in
its Valiens? the said William BRYANT is not paid by
that say it draws interest from this day it being
for Valient recived as witness my hand and seal this
18 day of May 1786.       William BRYANT    seal
